Approximatley 30% of the residence are year round and the remaining are holiday homes. Wachapreague is all about the fishing with two marinas, several boat ramps, fishing pier, tackle shops, wonderful restaurant, local grocery that makes terrific sandwishes, coast guard station and the Virginia Marine Science, baseball field, tennis courts and kayak outfitters, post office, art gallery, gift shops.

Soft natural seaside colors are throughout the home, all with orginal wood flooring. this sitting room is approximately 17 x 20 with direct access through french doors to the gathering room.

Corin counters with stone tile back splash, solid wood cabinerty and massive butcher block island results in a most attractive and functional kitchen.

A pieceful spot to view the town happenings and overlook the little pond and gardens.
The fishing cleaning pavillion is set well apart from the home. The old out building is in good condition.

The old store now has a complete face lift, new roof etc. You can use for whatever you like.

The garden are just revealing there perninals. Just pass the house across is the town park and marina.
Once the blinds are up in the gathering room any and all news of the days catch will be heard firsthand.
In session is the marina, the motel, the old gas station, grocery store, tkayak outfitters, then the Captains Quarters.

The barrier islands protect the town from the onslaught of the Atlantic. Navigation through the Virginia Inside Passageway is so lovely, bays and creeks and beaches on the islands are there to explore.
