The barrier islands protect our shoreline and best of all provide endless beaches and inlets with amazing fishing and wildlife. This inlet is easily accessed from the communtiy dock on Crippen Creek.
The pond created in 2002 is now home to 3 species of fish and to 25 species of dragonflies, damselflies, painted turtles. Nest boxes for Bluebirds, wood ducks, tree Swallows and Canada geese are situated around the pond with a camouflaged blind for viewing the wildlife. Wish I'd had my fly fishing gear with me.
